Unavailability of FNB online banking

FNB customers complained that they could not log into the bank’s online platform on Monday morning.

The problems started late Sunday, with FNB customers to complain that the FNB app, cell phone banking and ATMs were not working for them since the afternoon.

When customers tried to access the application, they received an error message stating that the bank’s system is currently unavailable due to routine maintenance.

At 4:15 p.m. Sunday, the bank confirmed the outage. At 9:00 p.m., he said the issues had been resolved.

“We apologize to customers who encountered limited functionality on our digital channels earlier,” FNB noted.

“We can confirm that the issue has been resolved and our channels are working normally.”

However, on Monday morning, several FNB customers reported being unable to access their online banking services.

While some customers are reports that banking is back online for them, others say they are still having issues.

A PayPal user and business banking customers reported having trouble logging into FNB’s online banking services.

“I cannot connect to the website on both Chrome and Firefox. The website is loading […] but after clicking login, nothing happens”, a user declared.

“There’s still a problem with your online banking, I can’t log in to our business account.” noted another one.

Update: As of 12:30 p.m. Monday, the FNB said it had resolved all issues with its online banking systems, including iIntermittent issues with lotto purchases, login on its app and online banking for businesses, and PayPal.

“All of our services are currently operating normally and any customer who needs technical support on our services can contact us directly,” FNB said.

“We apologize to customers for the inconvenience and thank them for their patience.”
