Shinhan Bank announced on January 7 that it is attending the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2022 for the first time in the Korean financial industry and showcased innovative financial services using the AI banking system.
CES, held in Las Vegas, USA, is one of the world’s three largest home appliance and computer shows, along with Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain, and the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) in Berlin, Germany. .
Shinhan Bank organized a booth under the themes “AI Concierge”, an AI-based business guidance service device, and “Digital Desk”, a real-time video consultation system, installed in Digilog branch of Seosomun last December.
The company has introduced a futuristic branch model by implementing the financial service process, from customer visits to consultations and transaction completion, through the combination of innovative artificial intelligence technology and various digital devices .
In particular, in preparation for this CES participation, Shinhan Bank taught AI bankers English, Chinese and Japanese based on Korean data. In the actual demonstration, the AI banker also showed the audience that he was speaking in English.
