SBI internet banking will be down for 5 hours today. Details here


The State Bank of India (SBI) said its internet banking services would remain down on Saturday and Sunday (December 11 and 12). Online banking services will remain unavailable for 300 minutes between 11:30 p.m. on December 11 and 4:30 a.m. on December 12. During this period, SBI Bank customers will not be able to use YONO, YONO Lite, UPI, Internet banking services due to scheduled maintenance activities.

The SBI informed on Twitter: “We ask our valued customers to support us as we strive to provide a better banking experience. We will be undertaking a technology upgrade in the early morning of December 11, 2021 from 11:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. ( 300 minutes). During this period, INB/ Yono / Yono Lite / Yono Business / UPI will be unavailable. We regret the inconvenience and ask for your patience with us.”

SBI has the largest network with over 22,000 branches and over 57,889 ATMs across the country.

Meanwhile, SBI offers pre-approved personal loans on its SBI YONO mobile app. The facility promises round-the-clock service and instant loan approval. In addition, now a loan seeker no longer needs to provide physical documents or visit a bank branch. SBI has waived processing fees on pre-approved personal loans through January 31, 2022 as part of its festive offerings.
