Customers of India’s largest bank State Bank of India (SBI) will be unable to use internet banking tomorrow for a period of time.

SBI Online Banking users will be unable to use various features such as Internet Banking, YONO, YONO Lite, UPI for a total of 300 minutes on Saturday and Sunday due to scheduled maintenance activities.

Taking to its official Twitter account, SBI tweeted, “We ask our valued customers to support us as we strive to provide a better banking experience.” He further stated “We will be undertaking a technology upgrade in the early morning of December 11, 2021 from 11:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. (300 minutes). During this time, INB/Yono/Yono Lite/Yono Business/UPI will be unavailable. We regret the inconvenience caused and ask for your patience.”

SBI has the largest network with over 22,000 branches and over 57,889 ATMs across the country.

Meanwhile, in response to the recent dispute over digital transactions at State Bank of India, the bank said in a statement that it does not charge any transaction fees to its Basic Savings Bank Deposit (BSBD) customers for transactions. digital, including transactions using the unified payment interface. (UPI) and RuPay debit cards.

According to a news article, in a study by IIT, it was revealed that India’s largest lending institution, SBI, had deducted 164 crore from Jan Dhan account holders between 2017 and September 2020. Of the 164 crore, the bank had returned only 90 crores to these account holders for transactions via UPI and Rupay cards. The bank had collected 17.70 from each account holder during this period.
