A host of services can be used from home by calling 1800 1234 or 1800 2100, the country’s largest public sector bank informed.
The State Bank of India (SBI) has released two new toll-free numbers, calling its customers who can avail banking services on their phones. This will therefore also help them to enjoy these facilities on public holidays, as well as on second Saturdays and Sundays.
“Meet your banking needs, just call!” Call the SBI contact center free of charge on 1800 1234 or 1834 2100,” the country’s largest public sector bank said in a tweet on Sunday.
By calling one of these numbers, SBI customers can benefit from the following services:
(1.) Account balance and details of last five transactions
(2.) Status of blocking ATM card as well as sending
(3.) Apply for a new ATM card after the blocking of the previous one
(4.) Check the status of the book shipment
(5.) Details of withholding tax (TDS), certificate of deposit interest by e-mail
Who can benefit from SBI’s toll-free number service: According to the SBI website, any customer of the bank headquartered in Mumbai can dial these numbers from any location at any time. These toll-free numbers are accessible from all landlines and mobiles in the country.
