Movement Bank Selects NuPoint Core Platform to Provide Reliable Core Banking Services

Computer Services, Inc. (CSI), end-to-end service provider FinTech and RegTech solutionsannounced that Movement Bank, a Virginia-based bank, has chosen CSI’s NuPoint core platform to provide integrated and reliable banking services to its customers.

Movement Bank, located in Virginia and the Carolinas, is primarily focused on serving communities that have faced challenges accessing financial resources. According to the bank’s history, Movement Bank has remained a pillar in its communities by supporting entrepreneurs, funding churches and even playing a vital role in the civil rights movement. The bank turned to CSI to acquire integrated technologies that will allow it to leverage its 100-year legacy of service.

“The search process for a new kernel was rigorous and we evaluated multiple vendors,” said David Rupp, President of Movement Bank. “CSI stood out as having the best integrated platform combined with the highest level of service. We are excited to move to the NuPoint platform and believe CSI will be an exceptional partner for us as we continue to grow and expand our impact.

To keep up with rapidly changing technologies in its market, Movement Bank will also use CSIbridge. CSIbridge provides easy and secure access to open banking APIs, allowing third-party providers to connect real-time data to the core of CSI. Movement executives cited CSI’s commitment to customer service and innovative core banking as a key factor in their decision.

“At CSI, we are committed to providing the advancements in technology and customer service that enable our community financial institution customers to achieve their individual goals,” said Giovanni Mastronardi, Group President of CSI Enterprise Banking. “We are thrilled to partner with Movement Bank and provide them with an integrated central banking platform to enable their success in a digital world and enable them to serve their customers with the best possible technology to manage their finances.”

Recently, IBS Intelligence reported that EntreBank has chosen Computer Services Inc.’s NuPoint® core platform as the basis for its integrated banking services. CSI’s core NuPoint implementation will enable EntreBank to establish a modern, open architecture that provides flexible online and mobile banking for its customers and simplifies back-office operations for staff.
