KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 17 – Maybank updated at 4:58 p.m. that all of its banking channels are now back to normal.

Maybank currently has a major failure which affects most of its online and offline banking services. Apart from its website and mobile apps, Maybank has updated that its ATMs and self-service terminals (SST) are also not available.
Additionally, in-branch banking and debit card usage are also listed as temporarily unavailable. At first glance, it appears that Maybank credit cards are currently unaffected.

Maybank tweeted that any inconvenience is regretted and that they are fixing the issue as soon as possible. At around 3 p.m. this afternoon, Maybank announced that it was experiencing an intermittent issue affecting its Maybank2u website, M2U and the MAE application.
