Doorstep banking (DSB) is an initiative of the PSB Alliance to bring primary banking services to your doorstep. To make your banking services smoother and safer, banks are offering their customers, especially seniors, to apply for door-to-door sales. You can avail DSB facilities for any of the 12 public sector banks listed if your account is linked to your phone number.
There are 10 non-financial services a customer can avail of, including check withdrawal, request for new checkbook, delivery of account statement, withdrawal of Form 15G or 15H. Customers can submit digital life certificates through home banking.
State Bank of India (SBI) home banking charges
SBI customers can apply for home banking service at the main branch. For non-financial transactions, SBI fees ₹60+TPS on each visit, while financial transactions cost ₹100+GST. The amount of cash withdrawal and deposit for each transaction is limited to ₹20,000 per day.
Punjab National Bank (PNB) home banking charges
People over the age of 70, as well as other disabled or infirm people, will be able to use PNB Doorstep Banking Services. PNB offers home banking to people within a 5 kilometer radius of a bank through its branches. Bank charges ₹100 non-financial + GST* and for financial transactions it is ₹100 + GST.
HDFC Bank home banking fees
According to the HDFC Bank website, the maximum cash back limit per withdrawal will be ₹25,000, and the minimum amount will be ₹5,000 for HDFC Bank customers. For cash withdrawal and delivery, HDFC bank charges ₹200 + tax. It costs ₹100 + tax per visit to choose any instrument.
