Banking officials say MPay, online banking, ATMs and POS are already up and running
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Bank on Saturday informed that it has restored branch banking services after facing disruptions causing inconvenience to customers due to a major system upgrade.
A bank official informed Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the temporary disruption caused at the branch level due to a major system upgrade has almost been resolved.
They said as of today, normal banking functions at branch level were nearly restored and there was virtually no disruption reported from anywhere.
“With deep appreciation for your continued support and patience, we are pleased to inform you that the temporary disruptions caused at the branch level due to the major system upgrade are nearly resolved,” they said.
Bank officials also added that all alternative banking channels such as MPay, online banking, ATMs and POS were already operational.
“Additionally, all funds transfer modes like NEFT, RTGS and IMPS are also functional,” they said.
Notably, customers were left behind after J&K Bank faced service disruptions due to a major system upgrade in the past few days. (KNS)
